It's the Duval way. It's this drive and determination and creative approach that has seen Iain and Duval deliver some spectacular placements in businesses across the UK, Europe, US and Australia!

From humble beginnings in South Manchester, Via Turkey, London, and Newcastle, Iain has constantly tried to break the norm. Why? Why not, indeed!

This has always been Iain’s approach. Having spent time in field sales, tech sales and contract sales in the late 90s and early 2000’s he took that approach and brought it to recruitment. Fast forward through the cult era of Prime-Time Recruitment – bleeding through the eyes, 14 hr days Iain knew something had to change. And so, on a balmy evening in Greece he decided enough is enough. And he and Sarah set about to see how they could do recruitment better, smoother, with more quality and a consultative approach. And with that, Duval was born. 

Inspired by the Belgian beer which happened to be on a menu in a bar called Pi in Chorlton, M21. ‘Let’s name it after a beer” James said (Iain’s mate) – and so it stuck! 

Through experience, desire, and growth the team now has a proven track record for well over a decade placing culture fit winners into Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Accounts & Finance roles, across various industries. With extensive success sourcing senior players, directors, leaders too as part of the specialist search / head hunt solution Iain and the team provide. 

With a passion for football, tennis and also knee injuries 👀 and the challenge of staying fit in your 40s, the fire still burns brightly and with 2 girls keeping him on his toes. The motivation and ‘will’ and ‘need’ for Iain to succeed is as strong as ever.
